Peninsula Club

The Omokoroa Peninsula Club was formerly the Omokoroa Beach Probus Club. The new club is an independent organization with its own Constitution and operates under the auspices of the New Zealand Companies Office as an Incorporated Club.

The prime purpose of the Club is to advance intellectual and cultural interests among adult persons who have retired or are semi-retired from their former occupations. It shall be non-political, non-sectarian and shall not be a fund-raising body.

Various interest groups exist within the club to foster reactive relationships between members, being organized by a management committee. Group activities include social walking, cycling, wine tasting, dining, theatre, arts and crafts and others.

Club meetings are held in the Omokoroa Community Church at 9.30am on the first Thursday of the month, excluding January.
